The first Hakone Grand Tea Ceremony in four years since the end of the COVID pandemic! This year, the number of participants more than doubled, so the Tokotoko's Shachu quickly set up a thick tea ceremony Koicha and a Ryurei ceremony (thin tea ceremony) and treated many people to tea and sweets. At the end, the Consul General of Japan in San Francisco and his wife stopped by, and as you can see, it was a wonderful way to end the event. We were so lucky. We were able to provide the best hospitality.
